My motto – All foods can fit! Instead of labeling food as “good” or “bad,” I prefer to recognize that there is a time and place for everything. Food can be nourishing- it can bring people together in times of celebration or grief, or it can hold a significant place in one’s culture. All in all, food is not something to avoid or be afraid of! Finding balance can be liberating- I want others to experience the joy that comes with having a positive relationship with food!
My “why” – When I was in my early 20s, I started experiencing a lot of hormonal dysregulation and gut inflammation. I was struggling with food intolerances, weight gain, and acne seemingly out of nowhere. From my own curiosity, I discovered functional medicine and developed a deep appreciation for its place in healthcare. I can relate to feeling confused and scared about the state of my health, and want others to know there IS a light at the end of the tunnel!
My credentials – I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I then completed my Dietetic Internship & Master’s Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!)

Favorite indulgences: Trader Joe’s Gone Bananas & Homemade Popcorn
Two staples always in my kitchen: Dark chocolate and Greek Yogurt
Favorite type of movement: Hot Yoga, especially in the winter! I also enjoy going on long walks to explore the city.
Favorite way to spend time outside of the office: I really enjoy being outside in any capacity! The summertime is my favorite time of year where I indulge in my favorite activities like hiking, camping, boating, and fishing.
Most favorite cookbook or recipe inspiration: I have found myself using the Blue Zones Cookbook a lot lately! I love how it includes recipes from all over the world to explore, and includes little blurbs about the different cultures. I also adore the PlantYou cookbook as it has so many easy, tasty recipes.
A personal touch: I’m a sucker for live music! My boyfriend and I like to refer to ourselves as concert junkies (particularly country music!) I’m a huge reader as well, historical fiction is my favorite genre to explore. I also love cooking & traveling. Healing my relationship with food has made all of these activities SO much more enjoyable, as I don’t have to fear or worry about the food noise that used to go on in my mind. My goal is to support others in their journey so they too can embrace the fullness of life without food fear!
