My motto – Always do the best you can each day and prioritize balance over perfection. Progress is not linear and our best may look different each day. We have to be compassionate towards ourselves, that’s how we heal. Food should provide support for your body and bring joy (and some foods may do one or the other and that’s okay!).
My “why” – My father taught me to appreciate food and value quality over quantity. He is from Italy and I have family members who are farmers there. He made a little garden in our backyard that I helped tend to and he also taught me how to cook. That love for food turned into a love for nutrition and an understanding of how food can heal us. I developed a strong interest in holistic health because I was fascinated by how nutrition, stress, mental health, physical activity, and sleep can all go hand-in-hand. Over the years, I saw my own parents go through health struggles, which strengthened my urge to know more about nutrition. This deepened my empathy toward others as I never want anyone to feel they are struggling, so I always do my best to help and guide individuals towards feeling even just a little bit better.
My credentials – I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Nutrition & Health from Miami University and after taking a year off, I went back to Miami to complete my Master of Science in Kinesiology, Nutrition & Health and dietetic internship. During my internship, I gained experience at several locations, including Kettering Health, Christ Hospital, and WIC. I am a Registered Dietitian, a Licensed Dietitian, and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Favorite indulgence: Anything with chocolate!
Two staples always in my kitchen: Eggs and yogurt
Favorite type of movement: Pilates and yoga together
Favorite way to spend time outside of the office: At a coffee shop with a loved one
Most favorite cookbook or recipe inspiration: The Real Food Dietitians website is my go-to for recipe inspiration when I’m too tired to think of anything to make!
A personal touch: I’ve really learned to prioritize happiness and find joy in things that I may not normally enjoy or struggle with. I strongly believe in balance and doing the best we can do, and our best may look different each day. I enjoy simpler things, such as drinking coffee and spending time with loved ones. I also love traveling, exploring different cafes, and going on walks to enjoy the sunshine and nature. I really try to incorporate feelings of happiness every day.
