My motto -My motto is that food is fuel and so much more! I believe that food is provided to sustain us, nourish us, and is a great source of joy in our lives. Concepts of dieting has brought great confusion to our culture and takes away the enjoyment of our food. I truly believe that health looks different on everyone and that it starts with a good relationship with food. We were all created with different capacities and purposes, which is why I take a gentle, individualized approach to nutrition.
My “why” – Starting in my teen years, I began getting symptoms related to thyroid dysregulation. As time went on, my symptoms progressed. I spent years trying to find answers for my symptoms. I was willing to try anything that would make me feel good again, when I was finally diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Today, I look back and it’s almost hard to believe how far I have come. Nutrition and sustainable lifestyle changes make up a large part of this transformation. I became interested in nutrition for my own well-being and that inspired me into the desire I have today. I am excited to work alongside you in helping you achieve your health goals at whatever point you may be starting.
My credentials -I have a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health with a concentration in chemistry from Miami University (OH). I completed my dietetic internship at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. My internship had an emphasis on the treatment of eating disorders as well as functional nutrition training.

Favorite indulgences: I love gluten-free pancakes and chocolate in almost any form!
Two staples always in my kitchen: energy bites and avocado
Favorite type of movement: My favorite form of movement is playing sand volleyball with friends, however, I also enjoy a variety of other movements such as at-home workouts through the Fiton app and long walks.
Favorite way to spend time outside of the office: Most of my time outside the office is spent with family and friends!
Most favorite cookbook or recipe inspiration: Most recipes come from my Mom’s cookbook, but Pinterest is always of help in looking for a new recipe!
A personal touch: Naturally, I enjoy country music, jeeps, and playing volleyball:) You will find me making healthy food in my kitchen or eating in restaurants ranging from simple to fancy. Additionally, my relationship with God drives everything in my life, including my relationship with food!
