What I Ate Wednesday!

I’ve {totally} been slacking on blogging. No excuses. Okay, maybe just one… I’m taking a Functional & Integrative Nutrition course and it’s kicking my butt. The payoff will be worth it, though. I’m learning so much and am eager to treat my clients using a more “holistic, whole-body” approach. 🙂

My clients love my “What I Ate Wednesday” posts so they can get meal/snack ideas. {Not that any of my eating is super glamorous. I’m pretty simple, not too fancy}.

SO here goes nothin’!

Yesterday was a busy day (aren’t they all?) and I was sooooooooo hungry. It’s like I’m prego again. but I’m not! 😉

Breakfast: Smoothie with almond milk, frozen raspberries/pineapple and pork sausage links.

WHAT! A dietitian that eats full fat pork sausage? {grin}

Applegate is my brand of choice. No nitrites/nitrates.

Albany (my daughter) had the same breakfast if you’re curious what I feed my 16 month old. No short order cooking here.

Basically… I grazed the rest of the workday. Brace yourself for a ton of food. I have a few minutes between appointments and try to fuel my tummy quickly.

Banana between appointments one & two.

Grape tomatoes between appointments two and three!

Salad with romaine, cucumber, tomato, sunflower seeds, and deli turkey. I’m loving Fresh Thyme’s Natural Turkey Breast at the moment. It’s free of crap-o-la. Topped with Marzetti’s Simply Dressed Ranch Dressing. It’s not perfect, but the closest you’ll {likely} get to making your own. I’m too damn lazy to make my own dressing at the moment. eeeek.

Plum and cucumber next!

Pistachios and sauerkraut between appointments four and five. I told you I was hungry! All of my packed snacks were gone. Good thing I keep these individual serving bags of pistachios at my office.

Home from work and ravenous. Why? I have not a clue. I devoured a few spoonfulls of natural peanut butter topped with honey; sweet and salty. My lawd… it’s the best.

This is the exact opposite of what I tell my clients to do. {Come home from work starving}

Do as I say, not as a I do.

Dinner was pork roast in the crockpot, fresh green beans, and a baked potato.

and dinner finally satisfied by endless pit of a stomach!

Hope you enjoyed my Wednesday eats!
