What I Ate Thursday

Interested in what this RD had to eat yesterday? Welp… follow along for What I Ate Thursday.

Again… no judging + I’m still breastfeeding. 😉

Who’s pumped for the crispy cool weather in the morning lately? I love the season change. These {fall-like} temperatures intrigued me to break out my thermos.

Trader Joe’s hot cocoa in my thermos on the way to work. Chocolate ANYthing is a-okay by me.

When I got to work I had my breakfast, a yogurt concoction. Today’s included: Fage 0% plain yogurt with crushed pineapple, honey-roasted slivered almonds, coconut, and honey. Scrumptious.

I tend to be the most hungry in the morning. Like… I want to eat every hour. Lordy.

I try to eat protein+fat+fiber to fill myself up. I mean I can’t be eating every minute of the morning, right? Oh wait. I think I do.

I breastfeed Albany at lunch time. How kick a*s is that? Visiting my cute little Bubba at lunch makes the day go five million times faster. I tend to eat a little before I visit her and then eat a little afterwards.

Pre-Albany visit: Cucumber with Newman’s Ranch.

Post-Albany visit: Leftovers from dinner the night before: shrimp stir fry (shrimp+bag of Trader Joe’s stir fry veggies+ 1/2 cup Wildtree teriyaki sauce + 2tsp Wildtree Asian seasoning.) Super easy and super tasty.

Afternoon snacks: Babybel cheese wheel and dates. Sweet and Salty.

I had an abnormal appointment on a Thursday evening so I packed an on-the-go KIND bar to get me through a few hours until I made it home for dinner.

Home late on a Thursday means something quick and easy. My quick and easy dinner meal tends to be an entree salad. I keep cut and washed romaine lettuce in my salad spinner at all times. I also try to have eggs already boiled.

Salad included: romaine, cucumber, boiled egg, turkey, raisins, sunflower seeds, Newman’s ranch dressing.

That’s it, readers!

Enjoy this weekend’s beautiful weather forecast. Fall is here! 🙂
